Four persons lost their lives in a car crash at Umumba, Ezeagu, in Enugu State, along the Onitsha-Enugu expressway, on Christmas Day.
It was learnt that the accident involved two commercial buses over-speeding from opposite directions of the road.
A head-on-collision between the two vehicles resulted in the death of about four persons, while several others sustained injuries.
Spokesman for the Enugu State Police Command, Mr. Ebere Amaraizu, who confirmed the development, said the persons confirmed dead in the accident include one of the commercial bus drivers, and three passengers.
