stabbing leaves one man seriously wounded

Durban - A man is in a serious condition in a Durban hospital after a stabbing incident in Durban North on Sunday.
Crisis Medical spokesperson Kyle van Reenen said that medics had rushed to the scene on Umhlanga Rocks Drive after police had responded to a fight between two men.
“The victim was treated on scene and intermediate life support intervention was needed to stabilize him before he was taken through to a nearby hospital for further care,” he said.
The man had sustained multiple stab wounds to his head and his arm, was found in a clearing covered in blood.
“The motive of the incident and the facts pertaining to it are unknown and the necessary investigations will take place,” he added.
