Two suspected armed robbers, who specialize in snatching motorcycles, met their Waterloo in Onitsha on Tuesday.
The suspected hoodlums, who have allegedly been terrorizing residents of Nkpor and its environs, Idemili North Local Government Area, Anambra state, were set ablaze by angry mob.
The end came for the robbers when they attempted to rob a Northern trader at gun-point. The trader who came to procure goods at the Nkpor New tyre market was intercepted by the robbers at the road side under the watchful eyes of residents.

Operating on their bike, they stopped the trader along the Onitsha/Enugu expressway, close to the market at gun-point and ordered him to hand over the money he was carrying in a bag to them.
But as the trader resisted their order, they shot at him three times but the bullet allegedly did not penetrate his body.
Seeing that bullets did not penetrate the man, they sensed danger and wanted to runaway when the trader brought out his knife and stabbed one of them on the chest.
An on-coming vehicle hit their bike and both fell off as they mounted on their bike to run away.
On- lookers who were watching the event immediately mobilized, arrested the two robbers and set them ablaze.
