Dangote Industries Limited, yesterday, said its promo of 180 millionaires in 90 days would provide no fewer than 3,783 customers across the country the opportunity of a life time.
The promo, which will run for three months, has prize money in excess of N300 million.
Executive Director, Stakeholder Management and Corporate Communications of the company, Mr Mansur Ahmed, who stated this at a forum in Lagos, explained that Dangote’s focus was to touch the lives of people by increasing the affordability of their basic need.
“We have been working and improving on the quality of cement in the country. We are constantly improving measures to make sure that the cement gets to the door of our customers. Our effort today is to deliver this cement wherever you want it,” he said.
Ahmed noted that the promo was the biggest by the company, saying: “We want to make sure that many Nigerians have a changed level. More importantly, we have partners and we want to share the success with them.”

Group Chief Marketing Officer of the company, Mr Oare Ojiekere, said the end users of Dangote cement were the target of the promo, since they had historically bought the product at high price.
He said: “We are entering the holiday season. At this time, everybody needs money. In this difficult season, Dangote cement will empower Nigerians with much needed cash to do more and make the best of a tough situation. Our primary targets at this promo are the block makers, masons, bricklayers, building contractors and home owners.”
Explaining details of the promo, Ojeikere said: “To be part of the promo, all it requires is for the customer to buy a bag of cement and cut out the token at top right of bag. Five tokens will make one entry in the draw.
“Each entry of five tokens must be attached to a piece of paper with the participant’s name, phone number and address, placed in a sealed envelope and dropped off at a designated Drop Centre.”
He further revealed that 400 Dangote locations and all Access Bank branches nationwide would function as drop centres for the entries.
He further assured the customers that the management of Dangote Cement would continue to look for new ways of enhancing their value as the level of acceptability of its products remained unprecedented in the history of Cement business in Nigeria.
